Abul Matin Khan passes away

Abul Matin Khan, a retired banker, passed away at his home in Uttara on March 24. He was 94.

He left behind his wife, Hosneara Khan, former vice principal of Scholastica School, two sons, a daughter, and several grandchildren to mourn his death, said a press release.  

Abul Matin served as the managing director of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), Pubali Bank and Uttara Bank. He started his banking career with National Bank of Pakistan in early 1950s and also worked in Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan and Shilpa Bank in Bangladesh.

Abul Matin's qulkhwani will be held at his Uttara residence on Friday after the Asr prayers.
