Abdul Karim no more

Syed Abdul Karim, retired assistant director of the Department of Agricultural Marketing, passed away at 11:15pm on Tuesday at his Malibagh home in the capital. He was 85.

He died of old age complications, family sources said.

He left behind one son, five daughters, eight grandchildren, and relatives.

He is the father of The Daily Star sub-editor Syed Abdur Rouf.

He was buried yesterday at Jurain graveyard.
