38th Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club Dhaka today

The annual installation ceremony of Rotary Club of Metropolitan Dhaka (RCMD) is set to be held today. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the ceremony will be held virtually on the Zoom platform.

Around 2,000 guests from home and abroad will attend the programme, according to a press release.

Omar Ishrak, Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Medtronic, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Intel, will address the installation ceremony as the chief guest.

He will speak on post-Covid-19 healthcare facility requirements for Bangladesh.

Rubayet Hossain, MPHF,B District Governor, R.I District 3281 Bangladesh, will grace the occasion as guest of honour, said the press release.

At the programme, RCMD will showcase some of its projects which have addressed Rotary's goals to  promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene and more, the press release said.
