26th death anniv of Syed Mozammel Haque

Today marks the 26th death anniversary of eminent journalist Syed Mozammel Haque, special correspondent of the Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.

Besides working for various local dailies, during his professional career Mozammel also worked for Time magazine and the Oil And Gas Journal of USA.

He is the lone Bangladeshi recipient of The prestigious Nieman fellowship in journalism, offered by the Nieman Foundation at Harvard university, said a press release.

On the occasion, doa mahfils will be held at family residences at Lalmatia and Old DOHS in the capital.

His family has requested relatives, friends, and well-wishers to keep him in their thoughts and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
