20th death anniv of Hasna Hena Qadir

Today is the 20th death anniversary of Hasna Hena Qadir, one of the founders of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee.

 A milad mahfil will be held and food will be distributed among the poor in the capital.

 She was the wife of martyred freedom fighter and intellectual Lt Col Abdul Qadir, who was killed by the Pakistani army during the Liberation War, and the mother of eminent journalist Nadeem Qadir and US-based IT expert Naweed Qadir.
