2 women found dead in Savar

Two women were found dead in separate incidents in Savar yesterday.

Police recovered the body of Shompa Begum, wife of Kajol Hossain, from their rented house in Emandipur area.

AFM Sayeed, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station, said the body of the 28-year-old was found hanging from the ceiling.

In another incident, the law enforcers recovered the body of Eliza Begum, 25, hanging from the ceiling at her house in Bhorari area.

OC Sayeed said the two women might have killed themselves. The bodies were sent to Shaheed Suharwardy Medical College and Hospital for autopsies, he added.
