15 ‘muggers’ held

Police arrested 15 alleged muggers during a drive at port city’s Kotwali area early yesterday. 

The arrestees include Rabbi Al Ahmad (20), Md Mamun (29), Md Shohag (26), Joy Barua (18), Md Ajim (22) and Delwar Hossain (37), said police.

Rabbi is accused in five cases filed with different police stations in the city over mugging. Mamun is accused in three cases, Shohag in two, Joy in four, Ajim in 10 and Delwar in eight, said Md Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station.
