Newborn killed at Savar hospital

A newborn was killed after being thrown out from the 6th floor of Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar yesterday.

Twenty-three day old Abdullah, son of Fazol Ali and Nurunnahar Khatun of Jamshing, was under treatment at the hospital for 19 days.

Fazol said he informed the hospital authority after his son went missing in the morning from their cabin on the 6th floor.

Later the body was recovered from the window ledge on the 4th floor.

Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy and detained Fazol's aunt, who was in the cabin with the family.
