New York exhibition features 8 Bangladeshi artists

A month-long exhibition of works of eight Bangladeshi artists was launched at the Eye for Art gallery on Franklin Street, New York last evening.

On display are the works of Murtaja Baseer, Rafiqun Nabi, Jamal Ahmed, Kazi Rakib, Ranjit Das, Ahmed Shamsuddoha, Sheikh Afzal Hossain and Goutam Chakraborty. Their 39 works include drawing, etching, acrylic on canvas, and charcoal on paper.

The exhibition will end on October 10.
