New Pak envoy presents credentials

Newly appointed Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Rafiuzzaman Siddiqui presented his credentials to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday.

The Pakistan envoy conveyed his government's desire to further strengthen bilateral relations and bolster political, economic, cultural and defence bonds that exist between the two countries. The president assured him of his full cooperation in discharging his duties, said Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka. Pakistan has chosen Rafiuzzaman Siddiqui to serve in Bangladesh for the second time.
