Nepali female student found dead in Dhaka

Police today recovered the body of a Nepali female student of Pioneer Dental Medical College Hospital at her dormitory in Bhatara area of Dhaka this afternoon.

The deceased Binisha Shah, a second year student of the college, got admitted to the medical college two years ago, Ashraful Karim, assistant police commission (Badda zone), told The Daily Star.

On information, police reached the spot and recovered the body which was hanging from a ceiling fan inside her room at the dormitory of the educational institute, the AC said.

According to the police official, Shah was caught red-handed by the invigilators while she was appearing at a test and charged with plagiarism in the exam.

She, however, was allowed to continue the test on condition but she left the test centre half an hour before the exam ended. 

She might have taken her life on emotional ground in this connection, the AC added.  

Later, the body was taken to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College for autopsy.
