N'ganj ASI sued for Yaba possession

The Detective Branch of police on Thursday night filed a case against an assistant sub-inspector of Narayanganj and four others for possessing 50,000 Yaba tablets.

A police team arrested Suhrawardy Rubel, ASI of Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station,early Thursday. They found 45,000 Yaba pills in Rubel's rented apartment in Rupali area. Later, 5,000 more pills were found at the police station, said Qamrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Narayanganj Model Police Station.

Masud Rana, ASI of DB of Narayanganj police, filed the case against Rubel, Sabina Yesmin Runu of Munshiganj, Abdur Rahman of Comilla, Real of Bandar area of Narayanganj and some unnamed persons.
