Motorcycle rider killed in Hatirjheel road crash

A motorcycle rider was killed and another injured in a road accident in Dhaka’s Hatirjheel area this morning.

The deceased was identified as Redwanul Kabir Shuvo, 32, while the injured as Mithun Hosen Mithu, 30, our staff correspondent reports quoting Sub-inspector (SI) Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp.

Soon after the accident, both the riders were rushed to DMCH where Shuvo was declared dead around 7:30 am, the SI said.

Mithu was receiving treatment at the hospital when the report was filed this afternoon.
