Monnujan Sufian sued

Three cases have been filed against lawmaker Begum Monnujan Sufian, also the managing committee president of the city's Daulatpur Day-Night College, and 16 others for suspending its former principal and two other teachers.

Former principal Chowdhury Mahbubul Haque, lecturer of biology Kazi Misbaful Tarik and lecturer of English Farzana Haque filed the cases with a Khulna court on Tuesday alleging that the managing committee suspended them illegally on September 17 without giving them any chance of self-defence. The court asked defendants to explain their stance within 30 days.
