Missing student found dead at orchard in Kushtia

A madrasa student was found dead at a banana orchard in Baromile of Bheramara upazila in Kushtia on Thursday evening, 14 days after he went missing.

Shamiul Islam Seikh, 20, son of Akram Hossain Seikh of Koldanga of Narail, and a student of Khulna Darul Ulum Madrasa, set out for Jessore and did not return. He was hacked indiscriminately, said police.

Police sent the body to Kushtia General Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
