Microbus seized in probe into murder of SP Babul's wife

Detective Branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) today seized a black microbus and detained its driver on suspicion of its connection with the killing of police superintendent Babul Akter's wife.
Confirming seizure of a black microbus alongwith its driver, CMP Commissioner Iqbal Bahar told The Daily Star over telephone at 10.00pm that they were verifying whether the seized microbus was the one seen as following the bike-riding assailants in the CCTV footage.
He, however, did not give any detail from where and when the microbus was seized.
The microbus driver was being quizzed at DB office till filing of this report, said DB sources.

Three miscreants riding a motorcycle stabbed her within 300 feet of her house on OR Nizam Road in Chittagong city at 6:35am on Sunday, police said quoting locals.
