'Man kills' wife in Khulna

A woman was allegedly killed by her husband in Munshipara area of Khulna Sadar On Saturday night. 

The deceased Sultana khatun Dulali, 24, had been living with her mother in e area as her second husband Nurul Haq, 48, is a drug addict, said Shafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Khulna Sadar Police Station.

Nurul -- an employee of Motiakhali Primary School in Labonchora -- stabbed Dulali in her abdomen with a sharp weapon in front of her house around 10:30pm and fled.

Local rushed Dulali to Khulna Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her death. Police could not arrest the husband till filing of this report.
