Man killed by mob at Barisal

A man died after he was beaten by a mob at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMCH) as he allegedly tried to snatch a mobile phone from a patient yesterday.

The deceased is Md Nasiruddin, 30, of Padrishibpur village under Bakergonj upazila of the district.

Sub-inspector of Kotwali Model Police Station Swapon said they rescued critically injured Nasiruddin and took him to the hospital's emergency ward where he died.
