Man held at Dhaka airport with gun

A man was held at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka with a gun and a magazine with eight bullets early today.

An Aviation Security (AVSEC) member recovered the gun and bullets from the handbag of one Md Azmat Rahman around 12:30am while screening his belongings, according to a press release issued by Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (Caab) later in the day.

Then police with help of airport authorities and AVSEC members detained Azmat, the release also read. 

Azmat was scheduled to board a flight for Hong Kong, it added.
