Liquor seized from car in Barisal

Detective Branch of Barisal Metropolitan Police (BMP) arrested three people and seized 30 bottles of wine and 98 cans of beer from a car in Dapdapia Bridge area of Barisal city on Tuesday night.

The arrestees are Sagir Hossain Mir, 58, Kamal Hossain, 35, Ripon Mia, 32, of Barguna.

On information, a team of DB men stopped the white car in the area and seized the liquor, said Assistant Commissioner of BMP Farhad Hossain.

Later, the trio was arrested in this connection and a case was field.
