Lightning kills two of family

A woman and her daughter were killed by lightning in Kochhcharpara village under Pirganj upazila of Rangpur yesterday morning.

The deceased were Rafina Murmu, 55, wife of Montu Tudu and their daughter Selina Tudu, 22, of the village.

Locals said the duo was working in their courtyard when lightning struck them leaving them dead on the spot.
