Kundhavi Kadiresan new FAO Asst DG

Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organiza-tion of the United Nations José Graziano da Silva has appointed Kundhavi Kadiresan as the assistant director-general and FAO regional representative for Asia and the Pacific, said a release yesterday.

Kadiresan, an Indian national, spent most of her professional career with the World Bank Group and worked in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
