Journos want 9th wage board

Journalists yesterday demanded announcement of 9th wage board immediately.

They made the demand at an iftar party hosted by a faction of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) at Jatiya Press Club (JPC) in the capital with its President Golam Mohiuddin Khan was in the chair.

Former JPC general secretary Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, senior journalists Syed Mejbah Uddin, Rafiqur Rahman, Syed Rasul Haque, Mahmud Shafiq and Mizanur Rahman, among others, addressed it.
