Journalists' grand rally for ninth wage board on Nov 25

A grand rally will be held at 11:00am on November 25 at Jatiya Press Club in the capital demanding immediate announcement of the ninth wage board for journalists.

The decision was taken at an executive committee meeting of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) held on Friday with its President Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul in the chair, said a release yesterday.

The meeting also decided to hold a joyous gathering tomorrow as the historical March 7 speech has been recognised as a world heritage. Besides, a human chain will be formed on Tuesday at 11:00am before the press club for formation of the wage board, it added.
