JCI Dhaka East distributes clothes among disadvantaged children

In this holy month of Ramadan, JCI Dhaka East took an initiative for the underprivileged children.

A group of the chapter’s members led by JCI Dhaka East president Mahmud un Nabi arranged an Iftar mahfil and distributed Eid dresses to the disadvantaged children of Aparajeyo-Bangladesh on Wednesday June 13, said a press release.

Aparajeyo-Bangladesh is a non-government and non-profit organisation, which works for the disadvantaged children in Bangladesh. Currently, 71 kids are living in their old town safe home all aged between 4 and 15.

JCI Dhaka East spent the day with the children and shared inspiring stories, and played with them and ended the day with sharing iftar and giving them Eid dresses.

The chapter has relentlessly worked for the disadvantaged and believes that all children have a right to education, healthcare, shelters, safe drinking water and other essentials of life.
