Jafar Sadique new head of Atomic Energy Commission

Engr Jafar Sadique has taken over the charge as the 22nd chairman of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) on Saturday, said a press release.

His specialisation in the modern techniques and close alignment with developing trends and innovative technologies led to the development and expansions of NDT activities in Bangladesh.

In recognition of the outstanding performance and contributions in the field of Non-Destructive Testing he was awarded with the “BSNDT AWARD – 2006” by Bangladesh Society for Non-Destructive Testing (BSNDT), the press release added.

He has several scientific publications in research to his credit in well reputed national and international journals/conference proceedings and possesses membership of various professional bodies at home and abroad.
