IUB opens bachelor in global studies

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) launched a bachelor programme "Global Studies and Governance" on its Bashundhara campus in the capital. 

Prof Imtiaz A Hussain, head of the programme, and Prof Salehuddin Ahmed, former pro-vice chancellor of Brac University, were the key speakers in a seminar organised on Thursday to launch the programme. 

IUB Chairman Rashed Chowdhury and VC Prof M Omar Rahman also graced the event with their presence.
