IUB debate competition concludes

A three-day international English debate competition titled, “IUB Ascension 2017” concluded at Independent University of Bangladesh yesterday.

Under the high school category, Mastermind School became the champion while European Standard School the runner-up.

Dhaka University's Institute of Business Administration became the winner while Khulna University of Engineering and Technology the runner-up under the novice category.

Under open category, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore became the winner while International Islamic University Malaysia the runner-up. Prof M Omar Rahman, IUB vice-chancellor, and Rashed Chowdhury, chairman of IUB trustee board, were present.
