Indo-Bangla ties at new height

Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali has said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have taken the Indo-Bangladesh relations to a newer height.

He said this while addressing an audience of retired defence personnel, bureaucrats, diplomats and academicians in an annual eminent lecture series on the topic of “Trajectory and Future of India-Bangladesh Relation” at the United Service Institution of India (USI) in New Delhi yesterday, says a press release of Indian High Commission in Dhaka.

The envoy said Sheikh Hasina had been relentlessly trying to restore mutual trust and cooperation and had been successful in bringing “a change in our mindset in our bilateral ties.” The Indian prime minister has also shown his keen desire to promote the bilateral cooperation, he added.
