India offers Bangladeshis scholarships

The Indian government has offered Bangladeshis scholarships under Bangladesh, India and Commonwealth scholarship schemes for the 2016-17 academic session to pursue various courses in India at the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels, except in medicine.

Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 60 percent marks or GPA-3 out of GPA-5 in the qualifying examinations, said an Indian High Commission press release yesterday.

The last date for submission of applications by email is December 10, 2015.
