Freedom fighter Jamaluddin dies

Shah Jamaluddin, a freedom fighter and local Awami League leader, died at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital early yesterday. He was 72.

Father of Barisal correspondent of Bangladesh Television Gazi Shah Riaj, he left behind his wife, four sons and three daughters. He was given state honour before being buried at his family graveyard at Rajar Char in Charmonoi of Barisal Sadar.
