Free journalism training for female graduates begins at IJC

A two-week free training programme on journalism for female graduates began in the capital yesterday.

Institute of Journalism and Communication (IJC) arranged the programme at its office in the capital in collaboration with Social Islami Bank Ltd.

Shahnaj Munni, chief news editor of a new TV channel, News24, inaugurated the programme where Mahamudul Haque, deputy editor (metro) of The Daily Star, also spoke. Senior journalists exchanged views with the participants on different aspects of journalism.
