Free health camp held in Dhaka slum

Rights and Sight for Children (RSC), and Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI) held a free health camp for children at RSC-DCI Health Clinic, in the capital's Kalyanpur Porabari slum yesterday, marking World Water Day.

Dr Al-Amin Mridha, an associate professor, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College; Dr Hossain Sahid Kamrul Alam, deputy director (hospital), Dhaka Shishu Hospital; and Dr Shamsul Karim, project director, Maternal and Child Health Training Institute, treated the slum children, says a press release.

Dr Sheikh Moinul Khokon of the clinic assisted the physicians.
