Four held for proxy in JU entry test

Four admission aspirants, who have made it to the top merit list of the admission tests of Jahangirnagar University (JU) under 2017-18 academic sessions, were found to have hired proxies for the exams.

The cheating was disclosed yesterday when interviewers, as per law, checked the handwritings of the examinees during viva-voce, which did not match the ones in the answer scripts of the written tests.

They were handed over to Ashulia Police Station. Filing of a case is underway, said JU Proctor Tapan Kumar Saha.
