Foreign secy discusses Ticfa with US official

Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque met with Assistant United States Trade Representative (USTR) for South and Central Asian Affairs Mark Linscott Wednesday, the second day of his two-day visit to Washington.

During the meeting at USTR office, they discussed the possibility of making the Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum Agreement more effective.

Haque expressed hope that the US would also appreciate the same and extend duty-free quota-free access to Bangladeshi products to the US market,, said a press release of the Bangladesh embassy in Washington DC.
