Foreign minister meets Bhutan King

Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali yesterday paid a courtesy call on Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

Recalling his visits to Bangladesh, the king reflected on various aspects of bilateral relations, according to a message received from Thimphu.

Praising Bangladesh's all-round development, Wangchuck put emphasis on BBIN (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal) cooperation for the regional prosperity.

Mahmood Ali admired the king for his dynamic role in Bhutan's tremendous progress achieved over the years.
