5 fire fighting units douse flames after 25 minutes

Fire broke out at the new building of Jagannath University in the Old Dhaka this morning. The fire was doused and no reports of casualty filed.

The fire broke out at 8:15am, Atiqul Islam Chowdhury, on-duty official at Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Daily Star. Reason of the fire could not be ascertained.

Five fire fighting units doused the flames after around 25 minutes.
