FE editor Moazzem Hossain laid to rest

AHM Moazzem Hossain, editor and publisher of The Financial Express, was laid to rest at Azimpur graveyard in Dhaka yesterday afternoon.

The burial followed three namaz-e-janazas -- the first in his Moghbazar residence, the second on The Financial Express office premises, and the third at Jatiya Press Club premises.

Hossain, suffering from heart and lung complications, died at a city hospital on Wednesday evening. He was 73.

He left behind his wife Chand Sultana, son Fahim Hossain, daughter Farhana Hossain, and a host of people to mourn his death.
