Expat dies from electrocution

A Dubai expatriate died of electrocution in his house at Bara Uthan in Patiya upazila of Chittagong yesterday.

The deceased was Abul Hossain, 40, son of Abul Kashem, said police.

Hossain, who came from Dubai on leave a week ago, was electrocuted when trying to turn a light on in his house, said Nayek Jahangir Alam of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police Camp quoted family as saying. He was rushed to CMCH where on-duty doctors declared him dead, added Jahangir.
