Ex-MP Mozahar passes away

Mozahar Ali Prodhan, former lawmaker and president of Joypurhat district BNP, died of cardiac arrest yesterday. He was 69.

He left behind his two wives, three sons and two daughters to mourn his death.

Mozahar was elected a lawmaker from Joypurhat-1 constituency in 2008.

He will be buried at the family graveyard in Dewanpara area of Sadar upazila in Joypurhat today.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia expressed her shock at the death.
