Eleven shops gutted in Ctg fire

Fire gutted valuables of 11 shops in Moulvir Dokan area of Satkania upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.

Fire originated from an electric short circuit at a shop soon spread to the adjacent shops around 1:40am, said Nazrul Islam of Agrabad Fire Service Control Room.

On information, two fire-fighting vehicles from Satkania Fire Service rushed there and managed to douse the blaze around 3:20am, he added.
