Dr Reyan Anis joins United Hospital

Renowned cardiologist Dr Reyan Anis, MRCP, FRCP has joined United Hospital. She is now attending patients' and doing cardiac procedures at Cath Lab of the hospital, said a press release.

A graduate of Dhaka Medical College, she served at CMH primarily. In 1989 she completed Internal Medicine course from Edinburgh Postgraduate Institute of Medicine in the UK.

In 1994 she joined the cardiology department of BIRDEM. From 1995 to 1997, she worked in Kings College Hospital in the UK and later served as an associate professor of cardiology of BIRDEM till 2002.

She has also served as senior cardiology consultant at ZH Sikder Women's Medical College and Hospital. Before joining United Hospital, she was the senior consultant and interventional cardiologist at Lab Aid Cardiac Hospital.
