Dr Mahbub's namaz-e-janaza today

The namaj-e-janaza of eminent economist Dr Mahbub Hossain will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque today after Jumma prayers, said family sources.

His body would reach Dhaka from the United States this morning. He will be laid to rest at Banani Graveyard.

Dr Mahabub, one of the best known agricultural and development economists in Bangladesh and South Asia, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, on Sunday.
