Doctor 'kills himself' in Ctg

A doctor allegedly “killed himself” by hanging in his house at Amirbagh area in the port city on Sunday.

The deceased Faisal Imran, 28, completed MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and was undergoing post graduate training at Cardiolgy ward of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), said Faisal Iqbal Chowdhury, general secretary of Bangladesh Medical Association in Chittagong.

Faisal Imran was suffering from depression, said Shilbroto Barua of CMCH Police Camp quoting the family members of the deceased.

A case was filed with Chawk Bazar Police Station in this connection, he said.
