Parking space for more 28 vehicles instead of 6

A digital multi-level car parking system has been inaugurated in the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Central Command and Control Centre building in Dhaka.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Javed Patwary today inaugurated state of the art car par parking system at the DMP office building on Abdul Gani road.

Other police high-ups were also present at the inauguration ceremony  of the eight-storeyed digital car parking around 10:00am.

The digital car parking project was implemented by Police Headquarters Development Branch-1.

With this parking facility, a total of 34 cars can be parked where normally only six cars was accommodated.

This is an experimental project. After analysing the pros and cons of the system, more such facilities will be built in the future, IGP said after inaugurating the facility.
