Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Morshed Al Mamun Bhuiyan passed the order after Pnspector of Detective Branch of police Robiul Alam, investigation officer of the case, produced them before the court with 10-day remand for each.

The court also rejected the bail prayers of all the accused.

Afroza Begum, deputy managing director of Creative Group, and her domestic help Bithi, were found dead in a flat on the fourth floor of a building on Road 28 in Dhanmondi on Friday.

Morgue sources said there were multiple stab marks on Afroza’s belly, chest and back while Bithi had stab marks on her chest.

Meanwhile, the house help, who was arrested on Sunday night, confessed her involvement in the murders during primary interrogation yesterday, three days after the killings.

The house help killed the due as the duo did not allow her to leave the house, police said.

Dilruba Sultana, daughter of Afroza, filed the case with Dhanmondi Police Station against five people including Bachchu and Surovi.
