Dhaka shoe factory fire kills 1, injures 2

A worker was killed and two others sustained injuries in a fire at a shoe factory in Alu Bazar are in Bangshal of Dhaka yesterday.

With 90 percent burns, Al Amin, 20, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said DMCH police.

Osman, 25, and Abdus Samad, 31, with 42 percent and 30 percent burns are being treated there.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
