Dhaka Govt Alia Madrasa students clash, injuring 12

At least 12 students were injured in a clash between two groups of students at Government Alia Madrasa in the capital's Bakshibazar last evening.

The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Sentu Das, an assistant sub-inspector of the DMCH police camp, told The Daily Star.

Political affiliation of the students could not be known immediately but one of the injured said they belonged to Bangladesh Chhatra League.

They clashed to establish supremacy, he said.

Two students were detained.
