Death anniversary of Prof Noman today

Today is the 21st death anniversary of Prof Mahammed Noman, an educationist and former vice-chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, says a press release.

His family has arranged a Qurankhwani and milad mahfil on the occasion. Besides, food will be distributed in orphanages and special prayers will be offered. Professor Noman Smriti Foundation has chalked out programmes to observe the anniversary.

The educationist is a recipient of the “Ekushey Padak” and the president gold medal.
