Death anniversary of journo Balal observed

The 13th death anniversary of Sheikh Belal Uddin, former Khulna bureau chief of the daily Sangram and former vice-president of Khulna Press Club, was observed yesterday.

Belal was killed in a bomb attack on this day on the press club premises.

Khulna Press Club, Khulna Union of Journalists, Metropolitan Union of Journalists and different social and cultural organisations chalked out programmes on the occasion.

They demanded reinvestigation and justice for all the journalists, including Belal, who were killed at different times.
